The Fresco of Technique.

An interactive journey through the thought of Technique: six eras, twenty-four thinkers, from Plato to Yuk Hui. Each entry reads in three moves — idea, contribution, limit.

Reading power relations across the long run.

The Fresco unfolds the guiding thesis of my Power & Technique course: a technology is a system that transforms energy in order to create or modify power relations. It sets that thesis against the history of ideas, and makes filiations visible: how the Greek split between idea and hand is passed on, contested, then replayed in the industrial age and the digital era. The interface is in French.

The Technological Empowerment Index

Where the Fresco traces the thinking, the TEI matrix puts it to the test: assessing a concrete technology across eight axes of power, scored 0–5. The same thesis, made operational.
